School's out

This evening, I received the most unusual request you could probably get from a 10 year old boy.  "Dad", he says.  "If we name at least 5 parts of an animal cell, can we not learn science tonight?"  I was tickled, and at the same time, I was heartbroken.  Am I doing them a disservice?  I hope I am not turning them away from a love for learning,

Yesterday, my 11 year old son asked me if we, in fact, start as one cell.  An hour later they both knew everything they never wanted to know about cell division and cell function.
Needless to say, we skipped the biology lesson tonight and talked about other things, like who makes the best pizza, and the best video games.

On another note, My work shirts are past their prime, and ready for retirement.  I am, however, very particular on how a shirt has to feel and breath.  I could care less what it looks like, just needs to be comfortable.  Well, today I found a shirt that I liked, so I took a deep breath and now I have new shirts for every work day of the week.  I have to decide which shirts are for which days, label them and then I will be set.
